What’s the deal with out-of-network physical therapy?

Why go to out-of-network PT when you can use your insurance elsewhere? Three words. Quality. Of. Care.

At a typical in-network clinic you’ll see your PT for 10-15 minutes each visit and be given cookie-cutter exercises to complete while a tech is telling you what to do next without really looking at your form. You repeat this for 2-3 times per week for 4-6 weeks until your prescription for visits from your physician run out or you decide to stop going. You end up getting surprise bills weeks later for charges that your insurance didn’t cover.

FORMATION PT + PERFORMANCE is different from the start. First off, you don’t need a referral to start physical therapy, so you can start feeling better, faster. Your initial visit is the most thorough in RVA to make sure that your plan is exactly what you need and tailored just for you. Every single visit is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy, where we can adapt your session on the fly based upon how you respond. Coming in for knee pain but hurt your elbow between visits? We can help you with that. And cost? You’ll either pay for visits up front or via a payment plan, but you’ll never have any surprise bills. You’ll also be given a detailed bill that you can submit to your insurance, where they likely will reimburse part of your visit, if you’ve already met your deductible.

Ready to start feeling better sooner, with a plan just for you? Live near Richmond, VA? Reach out. We’d love to see if we’re a good fit.

NOTE: Due to current restrictions, at this time we can not work with clients with Medicare and are unable to provide detailed bills for reimbursement for Medicaid.
